Ohio Casino Control Commission: written response to Vultax Received 22 October 2026, in response to Vultax's public-records request of 21 October. Respondent: Jared D. Arnold, Assistant General Counsel. Subject: replies to the Commission's 2 October letters on sports event contracts. The substantive reply, reproduced from the email (salutation, contact details and quoted correspondence omitted): Thank you for contacting the Ohio Casino Control Commission. On October 2, 2026, the Commission did send cease and desist letters to 10 prediction market operators who appeared to be offering prediction markets on sporting events to persons in Ohio. Thus far, the Commission has had a dialogue with a number of these companies and are working with them in coming into compliance. While many of the companies have engaged in good faith conversations with the Commission, two are actively pursuing litigation against the Commission in response. One company has confirmed compliance, and the Commission continues to engage in active discussions with the other companies that it's investigating, and so we cannot comment on those further. However, feel free to follow up with the Commission and we will continue to provide updates where we can. However, I have attached the response of Plus500 confirming compliance. This transcript does not include a later case-closure decision or an independent test of the company's controls.
