Texas makes betting on games and elections a crime, but no Texas authority has acted against Kalshi or Polymarket US. What the Penal Code says, what the Senate is studying, and how polymarket.com differs. Texas has no legal sports betting, and its Penal Code makes it an offence to bet on a game, a contest or an election. That is a gap, not a permission.
