The bottom line

Headline volume tells you how loud a venue is, not how real it is. The analytics desk ranks venues and pairs on what Vultax actually observed — clean depth, participation, and manipulation pressure — and keeps each population on its own clock so you are never comparing a live figure against a stale one.

What you get

Observed, not advertised

Venue and pair rankings are built from trades and order books Vultax observed directly, so inflated self-reported volume does not quietly set the ranking.

Populations never merged

The observed-performance cohort, live movers, and open search each have their own denominator and their own clock. They are reported separately instead of being averaged into one misleading figure.

How the analytics desk is built

The desk is a read model over recorded observations. It is designed to be honest about coverage before it is designed to look complete.

01

Every figure carries the observation window and coverage it was computed from, so a partial sample is never presented as a full market.

02

Distinct populations keep distinct denominators and refresh clocks; they are never merged to make a table look fuller.

03

Where an input is genuinely unavailable, the desk reports it as unavailable rather than substituting a zero.
