Refunds, Cancellation and Withdrawal
How to stop paying us, and how to get your money back. It covers the statutory 14-day right EU consumers have, exactly how a proportionate deduction is calculated, and the cases where we refund beyond what the law requires.

First published as a standalone policy. It replaces the discretionary 7-day refund clause in the February 2026 terms, which did not provide the statutory right of withdrawal EU consumers are entitled to.
1Cancelling
Cancel from your account settings at any time. No reason, no notice period, no fee, no phone call, and no retention flow designed to wear you down.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Cancelling during the 3-day trial means you are never charged.
- Your settings, watchlists and alert rules are kept for 30 days after paid access ends, so resuming picks up where you left off.
2The 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
2.1What the right is
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your first paid subscription within 14 days, without giving any reason and without penalty. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded — for us, the day the first payment is taken.
This is a statutory right under §§ 56 and 194 of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU. Nothing on this page reduces it.
We grant it in full even though the law would let a provider of an online service argue it away with a waiver at checkout. We do not ask you to sign that waiver.
2.2How to withdraw
Tell us before the 14 days are up, by any clear statement. Email [email protected] with "withdrawal" in the subject, or post the form in § 5 to Padriku tee 5/3, 11912 Tallinn, Estonia. You may use the form, but you do not have to — any unambiguous statement works, and cancelling in the app and telling us you are withdrawing counts.
Sending the notice before the deadline is enough. We confirm receipt without delay.
2.3What we refund, and when
We refund all payments received for that period within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the same payment method you used. We charge nothing for the refund itself.
Because access starts immediately when you subscribe, the law lets us keep an amount proportionate to what you used before withdrawing, measured against the full price of the period. We calculate it as follows, and nothing else is deducted:
| Situation | What you get back |
|---|---|
| You withdraw during the 3-day trial, before any charge | Nothing was charged. Full stop. |
| You withdraw within 14 days and never signed in after paying | 100% of what you paid. No deduction, because you used nothing. |
| You withdraw within 14 days having used the Service | What you paid, less the days used ÷ days in the billing period × the price. On a €29.98 month, four days used costs about €3.97. |
| You withdraw within 14 days of an annual subscription | Same proportionate calculation against the annual price — so days used out of 365, not out of 30. |
We do not deduct a handling charge, an administration fee, a discount clawback, or the difference between the annual and monthly rate.
2.4When it does not apply
- It applies to your first paid subscription, not to each automatic renewal — a renewal of an existing contract is not a new distance contract. You can still cancel a renewal at any time under § 1.
- It does not apply to business customers. Only consumers have it.
- It does not apply to the free terminal, because there is nothing to withdraw from.
3Refunds outside the withdrawal right
Your statutory rights come first: if the Service does not conform to what we promised, you are entitled to have it put right, and to a reduction or a refund if we cannot. That right is not limited by anything below.
Beyond that, we refund in these cases as a matter of policy:
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Charged after you cancelled | Full refund of the incorrect charge, no questions. |
| Duplicate or double charge | Full refund of the duplicate. |
| The Service was materially unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours in a billing period | Pro-rata credit or refund for the affected days, on request. |
| We removed a feature your plan was sold on, and you do not want to continue | Refund of the unused part of the period. See § 5.3 of the Terms. |
| You forgot to cancel and did not use the Service in the new period | We look at the access logs. If you genuinely did not use it, we refund. This is discretionary, and we do not do it repeatedly for the same account. |
Ask at [email protected]. We answer refund requests within 5 working days, and pay approved refunds within 14 days. Card refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 working days after that, which is your bank's timing, not ours.
4If we say no
We give a reason in writing. If you disagree, reply and it is reviewed by someone who did not make the first decision.
If we still cannot agree and you are a consumer, § 18.3 of the Terms sets out the free out-of-court route through the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee, and your right to go to court in your own country.
Please come to us before asking your bank to reverse a charge. A chargeback raised without contacting us first costs us a fee and gets the account suspended while it is investigated — and it is almost always slower than just emailing us.
