Before comparing prices, compare the contracts.

Two markets can look like opposite sides of one question while resolving under different dates, sources, thresholds or cancellation rules. Record the exact source links, compare six rule questions, and test four edge cases before interpreting a price gap.

1. Name the exact contracts

Paste each contract's rules URL. Read the actual rules at those sources; this worksheet does not fetch, store or validate their contents.

2. Compare settlement rules

Mark what your reading supports. A note records the decisive clause or remaining question in your own words; do not paste an entire rulebook.

Exact winning proposition

01Exact winning proposition

Are the outcome and direction identical, including every threshold and exclusion?

Observation window

02Observation window

Do both contracts use the same event date, cutoff, time zone and data revision window?

Resolution source

03Resolution source

Do they name the same authoritative release and the same treatment of later corrections?

Threshold and rounding

04Threshold and rounding

Do unusual values, ties, ranges and rounding produce the same result?

Missing event or data

05Missing event or data

What happens if the meeting is canceled, postponed or the stated source is unavailable?

Finality and disputes

06Finality and disputes

Do both rulebooks treat amended outcomes, appeals and settlement timing compatibly?

3. Test edge-case outcomes

For each hypothetical case, record whether each contract pays, does not pay, or voids. These are your readings of the source rules; the worksheet flags mismatches but cannot verify them. Leave a case unreviewed when the rule is unclear.

Stated event occurs

01Stated event occurs

What happens if the event occurs and the first official reading meets the stated condition?

Value lands on a boundary

02Value lands on a boundary

What happens exactly at a threshold, tie or rounding boundary?

Official result is revised

03Official result is revised

What happens if the named source changes its first published value?

Event or source fails

04Event or source fails

What happens if the event is delayed or canceled, or the named source does not publish?

4. Keep execution separate

A rule comparison is not an executable trade. These checks are user-reported reminders; the tool has no live quotes or order-book depth.

Add both source links

A review needs two exact HTTPS contract-rule sources. Public titles or similar prices are not enough.

Entries stay in this browser page and are not submitted by this tool. Export before leaving. The exported Markdown links back to this Vultax checklist.

What a completed worksheet means

“Same by my review” means you marked the six rule checks and four edge-case outcomes compatible. Vultax has not read those links, certified equivalence, checked that either contract is available to you, or observed an executable quote. A single recorded difference is enough to stop an equivalence claim until it is resolved.

For example, one contract might resolve from a scheduled announcement while another uses the final published value after a correction window. Both could carry a similar title and a different outcome in an edge case. Write down that difference before interpreting a price gap.

The exported review has a timestamp, your short notes, the two source URLs and a link back to this tool. It is a useful research artifact to revisit or cite in your own analysis, provided you review the source providers' terms. It is not a trade recommendation or a copy of either venue's rulebook.

Continue the investigation

When a claim depends on a market observation, keep its source time, population and missing data beside it. Vultax's Whale Tracker shows the threshold and scan boundary behind large-print samples; the dated evidence hub preserves selected observations for citation.
