Polymarket Copy Trading Cost Calculator

The leader's return is not the return available at your fill. Enter both prices and your costs to see how copying changes the purchase value, conditional profit and break-even probability.

Check copying costs

Enter the market's rate, e.g. 0.07. A category label alone does not establish the rate.

0.5 means 0.5%. Enter 0 if none.

One international Polymarket taker purchase at your entered fill price, using shares × rate × price × (1 − price), rounded to five decimal places. The comparison excludes the leader's own fees because they are unknown. A delay does not guarantee a particular price change. The copy platform fee here applies once to your purchase value; enter other charges separately. Rebates, multiple fills and later sale costs are excluded.

Investigate the trader before copying

Paste a wallet into Vultax's free lookup for reported P&L, volume and rank. Essential adds the positions and trades behind a record, so you can examine the strategy alongside the headline result.

Worked example

A leader buying 100 shares at 50¢ spends $50 before fees. A follower at 51¢ spends $51, pays a $1.7493 taker fee at rate 0.07 and $0.255 at a 0.5% copy-platform fee. The follower's total is $53.0043: $3.0043 more than the leader's purchase value before the leader's own fees.

Extra copying cost = shares × (your price − leader price) + your taker fee + copy-platform fee + other costs. Your taker fee = shares × market rate × your price × (1 − your price).

Turn a leaderboard return into a cost question

A profitable wallet's historical trades happened at its own prices and sizes. A copier receives a later price, potentially less depth and different fees. The calculator separates the price difference from the costs you pay rather than treating a wallet's P&L as a promise.

Vultax's copying-cost study observed average follower prices at stated delays in a September 2026 sample. That historical average cannot tell you the fill for a new market. Enter your own hypothetical prices here, or use observed fills to reconcile a copy.

Check the wallet and the market before the return

Look at concentration, the observation window and the difference between open positions and realised P&L. One good leaderboard window does not establish a repeatable edge.

This tool calculates one taker purchase on Polymarket international. It does not copy trades, request account access or predict a delay's price impact. A platform charging on other bases needs those charges entered separately.

Questions about this calculation

Can I copy a Polymarket wallet's reported profit?
You can compare its trades, but its reported profit uses its own execution history. Your entry time, prices, quantity, fees and exits can differ. The calculator shows those purchase-cost differences under the values you enter.
Does this tool run a copy-trading bot?
No. It is a free cost calculator. Vultax's wallet lookup opens public trader records; neither this calculator nor that lookup places a trade.
