What happened

In the 24 hours to 2026-09-06 07:00 UTC on 6 September, the five markets with the most notional in Vultax's observed Polymarket fills were LoL: Invictus Gaming vs Top Esports (BO5) – LPL Playoffs, Counter-Strike: MOUZ vs Vitality (BO3) – BLAST Open Porto Playoffs, LoL: Gen.G vs Hanwha Life Esports – Game 3 Winner, LoL: Invictus Gaming vs Top Esports – Game 4 Winner and LoL: Gen.G vs Hanwha Life Esports – Game 2 Winner: 16,536 fills worth $5.28 million. Who trades a Game 3

Over the last three days 1,796 wallets filled 6,466 trades worth $1.61 million on six LPL and LCK playoff markets. 125 of those wallets, 7.0%, belong to the round-the-clock cohort from the cadence study, and they made 24.6% of the trades and 13.1% of the notional.

On the Fed contracts over the same period that cohort is 2.6% of wallets, 19.8% of trades and 8.3% of notional. Esports has nearly three times the always-on presence by wallet share. A forty-minute Game 3 with a public live feed is precisely the market a fill-on-signal system is built for; a rate decision with one data point every ten days is not.

Why this keeps happening

Four mechanics, none of them about the games.

  • Resolution is minutes away - a Game 3 resolves in forty minutes; the Fed resolves on the 16th. Capital that wants to turn over prefers the forty minutes.
  • The feed is public - every LPL and LCK game is streamed with a live draft and gold lead, so a market can be priced from a screen; there is no equivalent screen for a rate decision.
  • The book refills itself - with a quarter of fills coming from always-on wallets, a wide quote is hit and re-quoted within seconds, which is what keeps spectators trading.
  • It is Sunday - the macro calendar sleeps and the LPL playoffs do not. On a weekday with a CPI print the ranking flips, which is why this page carries its date.

Method and limits

Polymarket's category share uses its own 24-hour volume figures for its hundred busiest active markets at read time; categories were assigned from each market's question text and every market is listed in the interactive edition so a reader can re-sort them. Vultax's ranking uses the public on-chain fills its pipeline had ingested for the last 24 hours, which can undercount markets whose fills arrived late. The round-the-clock cohort is the 2,080 wallets active in all 24 UTC clock-hours between 22 August and 2 September 2026; a trading pattern is not proof of automation and no wallet is named. Nothing here is financial advice.

Sources and evidence

Figures describe public market data at the stated read time and fills observed by Vultax's pipeline; they are not a statement about any market's fairness or any participant's identity. Nothing here is financial advice.
